Hello, Everyone! I'd like to take a minute and welcome you all to "Princess Records," the story I've been planning for quite some time. I'm so glad to finally be able to get down to writing it. Now I want to post it here at DA! Thank you for coming to read the story, and I hope you enjoy it.

What Is "Princess Records?"

It's very simple actually. During my years as a fanfiction writer, I have created several fancharacters to be put in certain cartoon and anime series. Each of the characters is unique, but most of them are female. One day, I couldn't help but wonder what a fanfic of mine would be like if all of those characters came together. "Princess Records" is the result. Anyone ever read a manga called "Tsubasa Chronicles" by CLAMP? Know how that series has characters from several CLAMP series brought together into one story? That's what I'm doing here.

"Princess Records" tells the story of Marane, a teenage princess who is the exact opposite of her role. Because she has lived a sheltered life, never stepping foot off her planet (or out of the palace at that), she has grown up to be a selfish, racist, naive brat with a tendancy to procrastinate and "forget" her duties. Her younger sister Marina, a four-year-old perfectionist with a bad nagging habit, is much more suited to fit the role of "The Princess of Birth, Life, and Re-Birth." Unfortunately, since Marane is the first-born, she must take on that role and help Earth with anything having to do with life. She is one of the hundreds of thousands of princesses with a role to help Earth.

One day, while Marane is slacking off (once again), a dark force penetrates the palace and puts the entire planet in an uproar. The High Priestess uses her white magic to force the evil away, but damage has still been done. Not only is the palace in ruins, but Marina has been kidnapped! When Marane asks the High Priestess for help, she refuses unless Marane will go to the other planets and save the existing princesses from this dark force, known as the "Skeleton Princess, the Princess of Death." Besides Marane, there are only six other princesses remaining within the universe to combat this Skeleton Princess, who has kidnapped all the other princesses. Marane hesitantly agrees, stating that she'd do anything to win her sister back. She's the only family she has.

Thus, so begins the "Princess Records."

I'm thinking about drawing black and white pictures as chapter covers with occasional color spreads, like in manga. What do you think? This will give me an opportunity to draw out minor characters, giving them more life and presence in the story.
